Independent practice building social-first ideas, writing and art direction out of Lagos. Taking on a handful of projects at a time.
Most African brands online either shout at their audience or disappear into a feed of templates. Neither is a strategy. Social is a slow, close-up medium. You earn attention by being specific, having taste, and sounding like a person who's actually in the room.
A good campaign here doesn't need to go viral. It needs to be recognisably yours a year from now (an idea, a tone, a look), something a community can repeat without being asked. That's what I try to make: work that holds up when the trend cycle moves on.
I build every project from the timeline outward: what the brand has to say, who it's for, how it should feel scrolling past everything else. Decks come later, if at all.
Four ways we can work together.
- 01
Social strategy
Positioning, tone of voice and a content spine built to live on Instagram, TikTok and X — not a deck.
- 02
Creative direction
Art direction for launches, campaigns and always-on content. From the idea through to the final cut.
- 03
Content writing
Captions, scripts, taglines. Copy that sounds like a person, not a brand manual.
- 04
Brand identity
Small-scale identity work for founders and early-stage brands — name, logo, type, a usable system.
Engagements are usually project-based. I'll quote after we've talked about what you actually need.
A couple of pieces to show how I think.
These are spec and personal projects — labelled as such. The studio is new; client work will live here as it ships.

I'm Oluwadamilola, and I started Spoof to make social media that actually sounds like the brands behind it. Working out of Lagos, I've spent my time watching how African audiences really move online — what they share, what they skip, and what they come back to.
I care about taste over volume: a clear voice, a look that holds up, and ideas a community wants to repeat. I work best with founders and small teams who want their corner of the internet to feel unmistakably theirs.

If the point of view lands, say hello.
A short note about your brand and what you're trying to do is enough. I'll reply from my own inbox, usually within a day or two.
